Project Manager | Cogdell, Spencer, Erdman: 2007 to 2009
Maintained principal point of communication and coordination between all internal design disciplines and the project team on several multi-million dollar healthcare projects. Delivered projects on time, on budget, utilizing the internal Project Delivery Process, most notably, a $55MM replacement hospital in rural MS.  Having to replace a fellow manager due to health reasons, I stepped into the lead design management role, resolving budget issues, and returning the project to planned schedule time frames.

Design Manager | CMT, Inc: 2006 to 2007
As lead professional, successfully selected and managed outside consultants ensuring that the clients’ requirements were met, interfaced directly on a daily basis with senior management and construction managers.

Regional Project Principal | The Haskell Company: 2001 to 2006
Maintained entire architectural and engineering staff in regional office of leading design/build firm.  Working with the Project Director from initial contact through project completion, establishing design strategy, resource scheduling, documentation strategy and monitoring of quality standards to ensure the client expectations and requirements were met.

Development Manager | McShane Corporation: 1998 to 2001
As lead professional for site selection, zoning approvals, development, due diligence for senior living facilities in various states in the Midwest and south, I coordinated the of owner design requirements with our in-house design-build firm.  I created development budgets, operating pro forma, and performed construction review.

Architect/Owner | rjk architecture, Inc.: 1995 to 1998
Established A&E firm to provide design services for growing assisted living and long term care market in the US. Lead the management of firm, including client contact, personnel management, and business management, marketing of firm’s services, preparation of presentation packages.

Engineering Manager | Besteel Industries, Inc.: 1990 to 1995
As manager of the Texas Engineering Division for a national modular building manufacturer, I lead the development of the first concrete floor units to be transported from manufacturing plant to the field. Worked directly with production staff and quality control, I lead the effort to reduce errors on drawings and manufactured units by 95% over a one-year period.

Director of Technical Services | PBS Building Systems, Inc.: 1986 to 1989
Joining the national modular building manufacturer and constructor as Engineering Manager, I lead the integration of CAD systems into the organization.   Developed methods of extracting estimating data from early 2D cad drawings, supplementing pre-construction services.   Eventually promoted to Director of Technical Services, leading pre-construction, estimating and all A&E services of the organization.
